You are clear on your career goals and have a plan to achieve them. It’s time to move from planning to doing. It’s easy to talk about your plan, but it’s harder to execute it. Keep these three things in mind when you’re ready to execute:
- Stay focused. Identify the most important one or two things you need to do next and do them. Say no to distractions.
- Keep track of progress. Break your most important task down into manageable steps and tick them off as you accomplish them.
- Remember your why. Use this to reflect on what you are doing and what you’re going to do next as you execute your plan.
