Practice Clinic
Practice Clinics are free, 45-minute live sessions built around recognisable workplace moments. They give you room to notice what is happening, consider how you might respond, and learn from what others see.
There are no slides to work through and no model answer to perform. You can practise, contribute an observation, watch how someone else works with the situation, or simply listen.

A practical session for the moment when a piece of work is not there yet: decide what genuinely needs to change, give clear feedback when it does, and resist quietly taking the work back.
Free live online Practice Clinic. Registration opens in Zoom. This page displays one current Clinic only; future session details will be updated when confirmed.
What happens in a Clinic
A Clinic starts with a realistic workplace situation. Someone may offer a response. The situation may shift when new information, resistance, or another perspective is introduced. There is then room to reconsider what the moment calls for.
Pay attention to the first assumption, hesitation, consequence, or piece of missing information.
Explore another plausible reading of the situation and what a response might make easier or harder.
Decide what you would do next, without needing to produce one preferred answer for everyone.
You will not be called on, expected to disclose a workplace problem, or asked to prove that you have the right answer. Choose the level of involvement that is useful for you.
Offer a response to the situation if you want to try working through it live.
Notice an assumption, consequence, question, or alternative reading that may be useful.
Watch how the situation unfolds and reflect on what you would do in a comparable moment. Listening only is always fine.
The value comes from noticing the situation and choosing deliberately, not from being told exactly what to say. Practice Clinic is not a required step before one-to-one support.
If the situation feels clearer than it did when you arrived, the page has done something useful. You might take the question above into your work, notice what changes when you pause before stepping in, return for a later Clinic, or choose another form of support when the need is different.
If you have a live leadership situation that needs private reflection now, you can return to Leadership & Navigation to consider direct one-to-one support. Practice Clinic attendance is not required first.
